So far so good for '06.
I've had some cool stuff to work on these last few weeks, some of which is almost complete. I'll update with some photos as soon as it is.
New Years was amazing. The party I played at was fun, if not a little smaller than usual, but the best part was spending my whole day with total sweetheart, Twwly. We had a delicious Sushi lunch, after driving through typically shit Ontario snowstorms, littered with roadside casualties. Spent a lazy, decadent afternoon at the ole' Holiday Inn, surf'n'turf for dinner, good music and all the good stuff!
I have known Twwly since she was about 16. We've kept in touch, watched each other grow up, change, evolve. Her Mom would drop by with little updates on her latest photo shoot, magazine appearance, victories and heartbreaks. I never, ever thought we would be any more than friends. Then a funny thing happened. She moved home. Slowly, casual coffe dates became a bit less casual. Glances were exchanged. Hands touched. The air sizzled. It was unavoidable, it seems.
You all know what an amazing, driven, and talented beauty "Twwly" is, but I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet to know the real woman behind the legend, and to get to spend time with her.
I've been quiet about it for quite a while, but I could shout it from the highest peaks.
Here's a little sketch she had me do for her new website. Go check it out.
