So I got my car back finally and I must admit, it was worth the wait. I have 4 stainless steel, copper coated header pipes coming out of my engine and all the way out the back with my performance exhaust. My car is much louder now. And last night I put in a new stereo system.
Unfortunately a new problem has arisen with it and its something I can't wait on. The rear main seal on my engine is cracked and unfixable. I need a new engine. I'm going to get a Vtech engine, but not a boosted one with a turbo. I like to have my cars have some kinda garage dirtiness to them, so I don't replace everything and make it totally pristine, and so I don't want the biggest bestest loudest engine. But this sucks because while I wanted to get a new engine, I didn't want to do it NOW. It's going to cost roughly 2,300. Money I really cant afford to dump into an engine. But the longer I go, the bigger the crack will get and I will lose more and more oil. I had to put it a quart in a half of oil today just from doing a 2 way 30 minute road trip yesterday.
I'm sure as I get a new engine some new problem will rear its ugly head.
