Good afternoon! hello SG....
RIGHT NOW
I'm sitting here eating a mango and drinking green tea. My house is a complete mess, as I decided to clean out my closet. now it looks like my closet vomited all over half my apartment. How did I wind up with so much shit? good god, I'll never know...... I'm only half done, too.....
MY LEG
is getting better. I'm not sure what I did to it. The muscle stopped hurting so much after taking advil, and alot of icing yesterday. but my leg has very limited movement. I have no clue what's going on. could I have dislocated it? tore a ligament? whatever it is, I'm pretty limited, but at least walking doesn't hurt anymore. I sure hope it gets better really soon. I absolutely have to work on tuesday. I'm short on my rent. I don't have a choice. I just can't do anything too complicated or demanding.
ADVENTURES IN BEING JUVENILE
Part I:tea...... Friday I got together with Sicily. First, we went and got tea at Coffee Bean on W.Sunset... I think everyone was staring at us in disbelief that we could not decide what tea we wanted and talked about the menu for about ten minutes.... give us a break, were just into our tea, and there were alot of good ones to choose from. they were out of the golden dragon oolong tea(my fave), so i got the gold tip assam, and she got the genmaicha green... we sat outside and talked about all kinds of cool stuff when suddenly I saw a tiny little hunched over old man coming up the sidewalk. that was when I saw that he was wearing a black two row studded bracelet. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. it made my day. Me and sicily voted him our favorite old man. He went into Baja Fresh, and that was all we saw of him. then we finished our tea, and went on a produce mission to find green hierloom tomatoes.
partII: the produce mission.........We went to this one place at faifax and sunset, and while they had alot of gourmet cooking stuff, thier produce section was really pathetic. I've been to corner markets with more selection. So we went to Whole foods. where I found what I was looking for, as well as some peaches, a fillet of pacific red snapper, and some chicken breasts..... we also sampled the olive bar for a while. I like the little green ones seasoned with she liked the nicoise olives. We also decided that the roasted tomatoes were really good, but I secretly thought that mine were better. Then we decided to get away from the olive bar before anyone realized that we were eating all the olives. So we go stand in line to pay. Then we decided to run out of line to put our hands in the beans in the bulk bins. I haven't done that since I was a little kid. It was oddly satifying, like getting a little massage on your hands. Here's what we discovered: The balck beans felt nice, the white beans felt even beter, the rice felt warm, the red beans were my favorite, the lentils were very soft, and the split peas were just interesting... the whole time we were cracking up laughing, and people around us were trying to figure out what was so damn funny. they probably thought we were on drugs or something. If they had seen us or known what was up, they probably would have been kinda grossed out.
Part III:thai food...... We went to thai food at the place across from jumbo's..... yum. That's all I have to say about that. then we went to sean's house and I said hi, since I never see that guy. We left after about five minutes, beacuse everybody was kinda off in thier own world, and I really didn't have anything exciting to talk about, so we came back to my place and sat around for a bit. then we got restless and decided to go do something idiotic.
Part VI: the shopping cart race........ We went to Target at La Brea and Santa Monica in search of the world's largest bra, and to have a shopping cart race. we tried the handicapped motorized cart first, but there was no way I was getting on that thing after watching sicily try to drive it, so we opted for the old standards. target is a grea place to race since the aisles are so long; you can really pick up speed. we did infact find a rather large bra. it was a 48DD. It was kinda like a hat...... I think people thought we were insane, but we didn't care.
part V: tea again...... we decided to go to tea again since it was still pretty early. We went to the Burguoise Pig on Franklin... The line was long and there was onnly one guy behind the counter, and although he is nice, he is slow as fuck. I have waited there before for forever and a fucking day trying to get tea. so we left, since even though there were only five or six people in front of us, I know it would have taken the dude forty minutes before we got our tea. so we just went home. I was tired so I curled up with the new harper's bazzar, and fell asleep looking at ads from gucci, dior, lanvin, jimmy choo, givenchy, vuitton, prada, and a whole bunch of others....... and that was my day.
YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED:
here are some, I'll get to the rest next time. This journal is getting very long.
-how did you get into dancing? how old were you, and what was your first memorable experience?
* I have been dancing my whole life. I started taking ballet and gymnastics at the age of six, and I have taken many forms of dance all through school and college... jazz, modern, belly, hula, tap, even figure skating and rythmic gymnastics for a few years. I was 18 when I first started stripping. most of my memorable experiences in dancing are experiences I would like to forget. ie: dudes following me home after work, having my safety be in danger, that kind of thing.
-What do you plan on studying in school?
*Massage therapy.
-What kind of bike did you get? I would guess a cruiser
* A cruiser would be absolutely useless to me. I got a mountain bike. I bike really hard, and fast. I need the gears, and features..... besides I hate pedal brakes.
-growing up, did you have any pets in your household?
*numerous cats, which I can name every one of, three dogs, some fish, some chickens, and some rabbits, a roster, and a duck.
-how do you know when you've grown up?
*I hope I never know the answer to this....
well, I'm out of here, this journal is getting so long, I doubt anyone will actually read the whole thing
ciao!
