I just got back from getting my coffee, and I was walking back up highland, I saw a gang of cops on bikes storming down highland..... never have I wished so badly to be invisible with a handfull of rocks..... Now that would be entertainment.... let's see where did I leave off on my portland trip? Hm...... Oh yeah, I think I just told you about working at jack's...... here's the rest of the week.....
MONTAGE
Is a reatuarant under the Morrison St bridge in Portland. thier food is pretty damn good. I met the SG Portland crew there, and we all sat down at the long buffet table on the back wall... I could name a bunch of names, but I can't remember them all there must have been forty people there. everyone I met was really cool. No offense you guys, but my favorite part was getting to see Anais and boston dave again I haven't seen then in years. It was awesome. I really love them. a very close second was seeing London again, and finally meeting Ryan, and Committed, and some of the other SG ladies..... Every member I met was really cool. The dinner was alot of fun, and very tasty. I had a huge salad, and the liguine with bay scallops(red sauce) It was really good.... Yum. I really deserve to be overweight. I've never watched what I eat, not ever..... Unless you count watching me stab it with a fork and put it in my mouth. Thank you, universe, because I really love to eat..... anyway, I got to catch up with Anias at the dinner table, and then London showed up at the end, and I was trying to catch up with her, but it was hard with so many people around, so we decided to meet up at 21st ave. on of course 21st ave. we talked about modeling, and photography, and all that jazz, and it was cool. then we took London to her car, and went home. We decided to work, even though it was 2:30 in the morning. we shot three outfits(about200 pictures) in 30 minutes, and I have to say that those pics are my favorite from this trip. they are really stunning. Yay for contortionists! I manged to crawl all the way in to a domestic sized dryer and washer and I'm not smal. I'm 5'7", except my ass wouldn't fit all the way into the dryer....I tried to shove it in there but no dice.... oh well, at least I finally have an ass again.... The pictures are fucking rad. I can't wait to show you one, and see what you think. I really like them. they are honest...
THE STUDIO
the next day we went to a fabric store and the studio... I got some black tulle to make a cool outfit with, and we got some wierd stuff to make textures with... we get to the studio, and the guy that he shares it with has left it a mess.... so all of a sudden both of us no longer feel inspired. so we say fuck it, and decid that it might be fun to find an old jukebox to shoot on. well It just so happens the he knows some ont that owns a bar with an antique juke box that plays 45s.... for all you younguns out there that don't know what 45s are, they are records. If you don't know what records are, then I'm afraid I can't help you.... anyway, It's not late enough for the bar to close, so I play a game of pool. we got some pics of me playing pool, but only two of them are stunners. I think the reason for that is because I wasn't posing, I was actually playing... I finish my game and we tell the bartender that if he closes the bar, we will let him watch me have my pictures taken naked on the jukebox. as soon as we said the word naked, He yelled "the bar is closed, everybody get the fuck out!" and we did our shoot It was awesome. the pictures are great. there were about seven people in the bar durring the shoot; the bartender, bar back and some of thier friends. two of them were cute, and I had fun flirting with them durring the shoot, which produced even better pictures. Thanks, boys.... Then I went home and packed, since I had to leave the next day....
AIRPORTS
So I get to the airport, fucking all kinds of tired because it is early, and I find out my flight has been delayed. Okay, no big deal, at least now I get a nap right? after an hour I find out That my flight has been pushed back even further, and I'm like "goddammit! I just want to go home!" anyway, at least the seats at the gate were comfortable, I slept all day on them. so in another hour I find out that my flight has been delayed untill six pm. It was supposed to leave at 1:15, but apparently, the plane has engine problems.... I am really frustrated at this point and wonder if I am going to get to leave at all.... then I run into member od23, and he is on the same flight, which is funny, because He was on the same flight as me going to PDX... I finally get fed up and ask for a different flight after they announce that they are going to fly the plane I'm supposed to be on with engine problems... so I get a different flight, and finally get to go home. I met another really cool member at LAX; the_fin who hooked me up with his CD and that was cool too. so everything worked out in the end, and I finally got home at about 11pm.... The end...
YOUR QUESTIONS
-how do you feel about the energy your dreads carry?
*I love my hair. I go through phases where I eally want top cut it off. I almost cut it on my birthday. Sometimes I feel trapped by my hair. Like I'm locked into a certain image. but that may or may not be a bad thing. I'm really glad I didn't cut it off on my birthday.... some day that day will come though.
-what does happiness feel like?
*At first I was like "I'm not going to answer that question because I don't know" But the more I though about I realized that that is bullshit. I love my life, I must be happy. Happiness is amazing. It's the most important thing in my life. Over the years I have realized that happiness is a choice. It doesn't just land in your lap, or fall from the sky. You have to choose to be happy, and then pursue it. Happiness is a gift that you give yourself, and only you can give it.
-which is really better, Count Chocula, Or Frankenberry?
* this question is proof that if you ask the same question enough times, I will actually answer it, no matter how riddiculous...... I honestly wouldn't know, because my mom raised me on health food. The Most sugary cereal I got as a kid was Cinnamon Life, which I still love to this day. I'm also fond of eating kellog's frosted mini wheats and cookie crisp directly out of the box in front of the computer or the TV....
well, I'm out of here, I need to go groccery shopping. I leave LA with a full refrigerator, and I come home to an emty refrigerator, and an empty pantry. well, at least nothing's going bad..... Ciao!

-so, If you could be brilliant at one thing, what would it be?
-Do you smoke?
-which of your friends do you miss the most right now?
