Got back from the little trip at about 5 am this morning 
Wish I'd skipped hanging out in Vegas and gone straight to Cali. I'm not a gambler and the strip is getting a little too FAMILY oriented.
LA was a blast! Except for the sketchy place we parked the bus for the night to crash in the Hollywood area. ( we also woke up with a ticket) It's in the middle of December and beautiful down there. I could comfortably ride my motorcycle year round! (thinking about it). Ate some great mexican for lunch on the end of the Santa Monica bridge. Played mr. gymnast on the beach. ( they have everything) Tinkered around town most of the day and watched the sun set off of Santa Monica beach before heading up the Pacific Coast Highway.
Unfortunately on the way up, we had some minor bus problems and had to skip San Francisco this trip. I'll be back down that way soon enough though.
It's flipping freezing up here. I'm really thinking it's time for me to try California. I need a good change in scenery!.......and did I mention it's freezing up here?
