well...time for an update, I suppose. not that there is too much to update.
work is the exact opposite of last week. last week I was averaging 11 hour days of hot sweaty work. This week, it's SLOW. I'm averaging 5 hour days. I haven't actually even been going out with a crew, but managing to grab some work in the warehouse. it's easy work...mostly just driving parts and equipment out to jobsites. but I'm still only getting paid for about 5 hours a day after coming in at 630 and waiting until 8 or so to get on the clock and working. it's mainly because we're getting so much rain pushed up from hurricane Emily. next week should be busier.
i did get to drive a forklift today though. that was kinda fun.
so I am sitting here eating sammiches (red onion, romaine lettuce, tomato, muenster cheese, and chipotle mustard on onion rye bread...one sandwich is spicy turkey and the other is rosemary and thyme baked ham. GOOD STUFF) er says my sammiches are gay. I will submit that neither one of them is wearing eyeliner.
they are at most delisexual.
I am watching...well...rather more listening to...one of the oldest horror movies ever. it's a 1919 silent film called The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. I was watching it, but was doing other things so I'm mainly just listening to the music (old silent film music...you know heavy on the string instruments and dramatic)
it's a neet film to look at, but I'm doing too much to actually sit and watch it.
I'm very much missing the girl. I haven't felt this strongly about someone in a long time. her visit was awesome and I want more of her. hopefully she can come back down again soon.

sammiches aten. now having Ben and Jerry's Swiss Vanilla Almond. great vanilla ice cream and fudge covered almonds! I'm gonna get sooo fat. no I'm not! going running again in the morning!
