Two weeks of good food in a row!
Last week I made it up to the American base in Herat for a dental appointment and managed to get things like bacon cheeseburgers and philly cheesesteaks as a bonus.
This week one of my Sergeants celebrated his 25th birthday by cooking for the rest of us.

things are generally going well. I think we are winding down our operations out here and half buried in keeping up with the work we've got and half buried getting ready for the next rotation to set them up as well as we can. Not sure what the USMC will have in store for us for the next 5 to six months. Guess I'll just have to wait and find out.

Yea, I've got two boards, clearing on post housing, I have two classes I have to do, renee my registration on my truck, get my new place set up, and I have to re-do my security clearance ....plus airborne school coming up in September.
