almost made the mistake of going to visit my dad at his house today...
for those who don't know the backstory: my step-mother(monster) is a god fearing (not so much loving) woman of morals that sit as high as her horse. or so you'd think. I've made nice with her for my dad's sake since I was in high school.
well...apparantly she blindsided him with some kind of legal notice, evicting him from his house that he bought before he married her and she's demanding all kinds of compensatory income...also demanding that they continue to.."date"..each other after they are divorce...she also wants a new car...and a stipend...and has written to my father's employers indicating that she still expects to receive his pension if he should die before he officially retires (he's been fighting cancer...without much help from her...for the last couple of years). The only reason he hadn't retired yet...he's already reached 30 years...was that if he reaches 33 years, which he will in about six months or so...she would get medical benefits and other advantages from his retirement. She timed this really well.
I called my dad about stopping by and he filled me in. I went and visited him at my grandmother's and read the document she had typed up. The woman is a bible-beating, money-grabbing, bat shit crazy loon.
but at least she won't be family anymore.

MR. DAVID! i actually had a biker call me that today. when you're wearing a bright coat and are kind of funny looking, conversations just start. Also had some older dude ask me if i was going to rob a bank.
