Got home from a day working in the rain, yesterday, all dreary and foggy....took a nap that lasted until about 4am. was good to sleep.
not too much going on. I have some sort of creature living above my ceiling. At first I thought that maybe my upstairs neighbor had a small pet, but as it has gone on the thing has clearly gotten somewhat larger and is clearly walking and scurrying and scratching along right on top of the drywall. so it is in the space between my ceiling and their floor upstairs. I hope it's not an opossum. I hate opossum.
worked on some photos from over the weekend. I had spent the weekend visiting my dad and some friends down in San Antonio. My friend Kevin had opened up his house/apartment for a walking tour of local artists' studios and workspaces.
I stopped by to see what he had done lately and help eat some of the food.
Before I left for Iraq in 2004, I lived in the little cottage behind and to the right of the main house. Kevin rents the whole first floor. He has a neat living room.
And he has an old, grand dame of a cat. Her name is Dog. And she's almost 20 years old. Total princess...well more the cranky Queen Mother these days. She naps in the window a lot.

I do have the feeling all the androgynous SG has gone away, and now, with the members vote system and all, it's hard to see new ones - as mass members prefers ultrafeminine chicks. Sad.
