Spent the weekend visiting my dad and hanging out with some good friends I hadn't seen in a while. It was a good excuse to put a couple hundred miles on the motorcycle. I even managed to not get stuck in any rain the whole weekend. Was dragged to a bunco game/tournament thingy. had never heard of it before, but I did learn not to get your arm in the way of septgenarian ladies reaching for thier turn to roll the dice!
also went and saw the Simpsons movie. yes, it was like an extended episode, but it was nice to see it on the big screen. and nice to see an animated movie with actual cell drawings rather than totally cgi (not that I'm not looking forward to beowulf either). it was hilarious.
now home and enjoying a hot sandwich (mmm blackforest turkey and cheeese), cold cider, and the company of my ever increasingly portly cat.

They grow like weeds. Morticia is the same way. She's doubled in size since I got her in February. I don't really notice it until I look at old pictures of her.
