been busy.
worked a 60 hour week last week. didn't even really feel like it. was just working and working and working. finally got the motorcycle back, only to find it still didn't run well, so I had to send it back in to the shop. turned out fouled sparkplugs and a dirty airfilter were the culprits. had them drain the carb and check the compression just for fun. so now another $130 later the bike is back on the road and running beautifully. which of course means that the weather had to turn absolutely craptastic. plunging into the low 30's with rain and sleet. ah well.
sitting at home watching movies instead. I'm really digging this Samurai Champloo series.
reading a lot, realizing that i have far too many motorcycle magazines subscriptions. need to get out of doors though. want to take the bike on a good long ride out to a camping spot. get away from the net for a few days.
I might not survive it though. I went crazy yesterday saving my computer from some bastard of a trojan horse virus that found it's way into my files. luckily the antiviral software kept it from working, but after every reboot, it reappeared. Afer I finally hunted it down and killed it, I couldn't get back on the internets and I had to spend some time figuring out how to do that.
but it's all fixed now.
Katy will be happy. not just because she can get on the internets, but because I was one grumpy bastard. I can handle big, life altering, problems with a certain amount of elan, or at the very least, calm. But, if my computer doesn't work, or I cannot find my keys, or I can't fucking get past that part of Silent Hill where you're on the carousel and Cybil is trying to shoot you....my face gets red and looks a lot like
I didn't use to have this problem. I don't know if it's the caffine or what.
other than that. well my father is ill. very. and I'm wondering how all that is going to work out. and the rest is just normal life stuff. need to clean the apartment and go to the store.
never seems to be enough time.
