I had an explosion of work to do right after I took my GRE so I was a little busy to remember to report in, but I did decently well. I would have liked better but that is typical and I surpassed the admissions requirements for the program I am applying for.
I do believe that this weekend/beginning of the week will be when I officially apply to UF and get all my transcripts sent in, so wish me luck.
I've looked up information about the program online and have heard great things about it but cannot find out how competitive the admissions process is, so I don't know whether to relax or panic.
Unfortunately the deadline is not until May, so I am assuming I will have to wait until at least May to hear anything back. Way to put stress on this semester, ugh. I dislike getting ready to graduate and not knowing what my future holds. At least after I graduated from ECU I was already accepted at NCSU.Let's hope the good fortune continues and I get in to UF.
The good news is I will probably remain in the area I am currently living in. The bad news is I am probably going to have to find a new apartment super super soon. I'm not sure if I have mentioned it here before, but I had issues this past Summer with graffiti on the side of my apartment. After multiple reports to the office that included pictures, they pressure washed it off but none of the kids causing the issue were gone.
One of them was caught stealing a bike by one of the office workers and they family was evicted. We though the trouble would stop. It did for a while, but that family is related to the family that live three doors down from me and over Christmas break (as I was at home with my family) they tagged my back window.
Only mine.
My boyfriend was livid and almost moved us out then, but decided not to since moving right before the semester started was going to be tough.
Well last night we came home to seeing the neighbors daughter with her friends around a fire in the playground. The play ground that is twenty feet from my apartment.
My boyfriend called the police and they showed up with officers and a fire engine, which was probably excessive. They also told us they were opening an arson investigation which is probably more just to scare the family of the girl than anything. Unless she talks then there isnt much they can do. My boyfriend is going to the office Monday to see what can be done about it
All in all its frustrating and I dont want to spend my Spring Break worrying over it. Blegh.
Instead I bring you Disney Zombies
