So I am aware that people are into different things. People have different levels of intelligence. It happens. It's not really any one's fault. It just is.
If there is one thing I hate, it's people who cannot come to grips with what they do, and try to make it more glamorous or difficult to try to seem like they are equal footing with someone else.
I have a degree in Biology. Biology, as a general rule, and with experience, is harder than anthropology. Granted it may depend on what area of bio compared to what area of anth, but as a general rule, it's true.
However, I am constantly faced with ridiculous amounts of crap to do for my anth classes because they feel the need to prove themselves. It's annoying. Sure I feel like half of my classes are pointless, but just becuase I do doesn't mean they need to act like they are more important than any other class.
I'm annoyed. Massively. I should not be working harder now that I did for the hard degree that most people drop out of because they can't hack it.
Blarg. I'm just cranky because I studied a ton for a test and got a C. At least I think so. I can't tell, it's an online course and my test grade has changed like 3 times already.
Oh well. Study more more more.
I'm also considering trying to get a job in a lab instead of going straight in to grad school after this degree. If I stay in Raleigh I can try to get a job with the SBI and that's pretty much what I want to do short of being able to legally identify corpses reduced to bones as well.
It depends. I have to go to grad school for Forensic Anthropology in order to be able to do it, but it wouldn't be a steady job. I always wanted to work in a crime lab, so I might try to get the job first, and see if I'm content there and study further later if I want.
Plus I can't think of a damn thesis to save my fucking life. Ugh. I wanna study bones people, that's it, I don't care about your research and thesis!!!!
*sticks out tongue*
Hmm...I should definitely be paying attention to the online lecture I have going on in the background...lol
In a quick update:
I've made more plushies, the latest was a lady bug
It's going to one of my good friend's lady.
I should stop making these for free...
Off to finish this criminology lecture and read an article or two and then try to goof off.
