So at this exact point in time I have one week and two days left of class...just seven days!!! This makes me joyful...what doesn't is that exactly three days after that exams start...ugh
I hate hate hate exams...seriously.
What I am loving is that the semester is almost over, and soon I will have time to just enjoy myself. I also like the fact that right now I don't totally hate my job. Granted I've been there a whole of two weeks, but if I've gone two weeks without hating the place then yay!!! I guess you also have to take into account that it is Hot Topic and I wear more novelty and band shirts than I do anything else, so it works for me. Also helps that the people have been awesome too.
Yay them!
I also like zombies...yes you knew this, and no I have no idea why I needed to restate this...I just think Christmas Zombies are fun, and if you don't believe me, then read "The Stupidest Angel" by Christopher Moore.
He rawks.
I am also oh so very super stoked because one of my oldest friends, actually, my oldest friend, is coming to visit!!!! I started karate when I was five, and he joined when I was six, we became immediate close friends and were quite literally a-joined at the hip...we had sleepovers, went to karate parties, beat each other up, played video games, went to competitions together...we were hella close, he was my first best friend.
Well when we were eleven/twelve-ish, his parents decided to move to Florida for a better job opportunity that had arisen. I was sad, he was sad, we were sad. It sucked. We promised to write lots...but then again we were like eleven...so yea, that didn't happen. We lost touch.
Well this past year I hunted that little bitch down on myspace and found him. we immediately hit it off again, we are still so much alike that its almost as if we never did lose touch. And awesomely enough he is coming to visit me in less than a month!!!
I can not begin to tell you how very excited I am about this.
There could be a bit of confusion since we jokingly flirt a lot, but what good friends dont right?
I'm just glad I get to see him again, and hopefully he and I can both keep enough money to keep visits pretty regular, then again, we are both in college, so yea, money is always an issue.
Thank God for the internet and instant messaging right?
Sorry to ramble about that, I'm just hella excited, and I'm pretty sure the week is going to be spent playing as many video games as we can manage and partying as hard as we can.
Another note of excitement...with the ending of the semester, and the having of a job, I can go home and visit my parents more! This makes me ubber happy. Due to limited funds and the inflation of gas prices I have been forced to stay in my college house and not go see my parents, whom I am very close too. Literally. I live forty-five minutes away from them, but I'm still close to them too.
I did get to see them this Thanksgiving, which was great. And hopefully I get enough time off to go stay a whole week for Christmas, but when class gets done I can visit more since I only work a few days a week anyway.
So right now even though I am seriously starting to freak out about the end of the semester death exams, I'm pretty frickin happy. I have my Christmas spirit this year, which rocks, since I lost it some years ago.
Funny how just a couple of weeks ago everything was going so terribly and I hated my current living conditions, but I was right, things do get better, and this proves it!
So to all my college buddies, study hard, don't stress too much, I know I do, and just remember, yea, it may suck, but you can always re-take a class if you fail it, by all means don't mess up on purpose, but if you realize that simple fact, it makes the end of the year a WHOLE lot better.
loves to all!!!
