Ugh.
I work with this guy who thinks he knows the correct answer to everything. He's one of those people who drives you crazy not because he IS better than you, but because he THINKS he's better than you, and THINKS that he does anything better than you do. He's one of those people who has an opinion about everything, and has no problem telling you outright the you are either a- lying, or b - wrong. He's one of those people who is not used to being told, in no uncertain terms, what is acceptable and what is not. And so when he comes in to contact with a forceful personality (like yours truly), who has no problem whatsoever contradicting him, he gets sulky and quiet and leaves without a word at the end of his shift.
Most of the time I don't even bother saying anything, but today I got a little snappy. And I'm glad. Because he came in to the restaurant a month ago acting like he owned the place, and presumes, to this day, to try and tell me what to do. I can keep my mouth shut for the sake of a pleasant atmosphere at the restuarant, but if someone wants to play "who's the boss" games with me, don't even try it unless you're in the same REALM of maturity.
Work is work. Don't piss me off when I'm working. Person to person is an entirely different aspect... I don't connect the two. And I don't stew about something either. I say my peice and then it's over with in my mind.
Rant over.
