(edit: this whole update is sickly conceited.)
Things you don't know about Jo.
1. My tongue is too big for my mouth and it made my teeth push out so that I had to get 8 teeth removed and wear braces for 2 years. Still wear a retainer at night.
2. When I was six me and my best friend Madalyn used to make out; neither of us knew exactly what we were doing, but it felt good. One day, while we were rubbing our crotches together, I had a reveltion about how babies were made. Several years later, found out I was right.
3. I read romances and I like country music. Yarg!
[*Proviso* Mostly the old stuff... none of this new country crap]
4. Almost died from appendicitis when I was fifteen; I went into sceptic shock and had to get a blood transfusion. It was accute and inflammatory and I had to stay in the ICU for 4 days, and spend 2 weeks in the hospital on a morphine drip. Mmmmm Morphine.
5. Have an 8 inch scar on my stomach. See above for reason.
6. Have aspirations to become an author. One day. If I ever decide to write again.
7. Can never remember how to spell "pierce" or "piece", nor do I ever remember in what context "then" and "than" are used. Or "except" and "accept".
8. For about 5 years, was a professional sailing instructor... I've even worked in the Bahamas.
That was a great job... all under the table too - I've never made so much money at one job. Heh.
9. Drink of choice is dark rum and diet coke.
10. Have size 11 feet.
11. Have a 36" inseem.
12. Used to be a bouncer at this night club in western Ontario, when I was in University. It was my job to throw out the drunk women, since male bouncers couldn't touch them. Sigh... it was great.
13. When I was a waitress at a casino, I once received a $600 tip... for serving drinks... no "special favours" involved.
Thaaat's the stooory of... thaat's the glooory of loooooooooooooove.

My deep dark secret, I like a lot of old country music, too.
Happy New Year!
Too bad about Usual Suspect- sometimes the process seems a little arbitrary. How many kitchen sets have there been? Or the bedroom sets?
Oh well.
And yeah, I am a reenactor, thouh not Civil War. Revolutionary War. It's a lot of fun, and has much more in common with what you did at the fort. Though we are not attached to a place- and I don't get paid for it!
Wish I did...
Last year (2004) went to Quebec for a big 225th ann. event. 2000 reenactors, 90,000 spectators for a one day battle... it was amazing. We camped on the actual Plains of Abraham!!
Sorry, showing my dork factor... nice to meet another SG reenactor.
