It's been a while since my last update....Since I've gotten my Harley I've working on it on stop for a while. About a solid 3 weeks. Hell I've haven't even played WoW all that much sense I got it. The good news I have it running the bad news is it still needs carburetor work done to it. It's leaking gas pretty bad but at least it's running. It needs a new carburetor float and bigger jets. It's not getting enough fuel and making the pipes turn blue. I have all the parts for it. My cousin was coming down this weekend to help me again with the carburetor work but I caught this damn stomach flu that has been going around. So I had cancel on him :( Hopefully I can get over this crap and have him out next week to finish working on the bike. When he comes down he's going to give me some riding lesson. I'm a complete novice when it comes to riding motorcycles. I did go and get my motorcycle daytime riding permit though. So that part is done. Plus I still have to save up some monies and pay my personal property taxes for his year so I can get tags and plates for it. Hopefully I should be at least riding it around my neighborhood by the end of the month ;)
This is how the bike looked when I picked it up:
This is how the bike looks now after I've did a quick clean on it:
