Have you ever made a Hummingbird cake? I've been itching to for the last year but haven't gotten around to it yet. I like to do vetebrod on Christmas - it's like a Scandinavian Christmas cinnamon roll. Typically baked in loaf form, and while I have done it that way many times, I find it's better to slice the loaf and bake them as traditional cinnamon rolls. They are much more moist that way. The only difference between them really is the addition of cardamom to the dough.
