Dear Brian,
There are so many things I have to say to you. After three years of life with you, I feel to the very core that I knew you better than anyone in the world. I knew your fears, your dreams, your favorites in life, and all the things you had to overcome everyday just to feel alive. Goodbye my very dear friend, you were the first person in my life who taught me how to live, and to love. While we had our hard times, and faced so many challenges together, the hardest challenge you had to face was yourself. I do not blame you for what happened, the fight is over my sweet sweet boy, and you have won the longest battle. You can fly free now pigeon, I now know there was some crazy reason behind that nickname.lol. I can let you fly away from me now, and everyone knows that you will always fly home to them, and watch over them with your warm spirit and big loving heart. I will miss that smile, and that laugh. I will miss the excitement in your eyes when we ate pineapple pikza, and when you had a can of chew. You have the best goddamn seats at the baseball games now kid, you can watch them all day and eat ranch sunflower seeds. Of course I feel like I could have done better, or been better, but in the end, I see that you and I were a chapter when we needed each other most, God separated us in time, to give you freedom of life, to do and live as you chose to do. We both know what we had, and there is no way to explain it to anyone else, I choose to remember the happy things, and the real you. The last time I saw you, you were throwing up your Gatorade bottle and catching it, you looked happy, and I choose to believe that you were. You have impacted so many people, I hope you see that we all loved you in our own ways. And day by day, we will live for you, and in your memory. Im sorry for everything. You were lost, but now you are safe and finally have a place to call home.
I will remember you. Always. Hope you know that.
"I'll walk just beyond the moon, and I'll stop and wait for you."
See you again someday.
I love you,
-Me
