i escaped to - and this is exciting but it sounds way better than it actually is - the artist district. i'm a graduate engineering student but somewhat in denial. about a block from union station downtown, from little tokyo, from my favorite bar in chinatown, and from moca.

the truck wasn't so bad...there is a solar panel on top so i could watch movies inside, and i only had a couple of run ins with the cops.

what is fragging?

Have fun w/ your friends! I HIGHLY recommend you check out Burning Man. There is nothing like it in the world. I am part of several different crews, but you can usually find me with the Orange Kids and/or The Mutaytor.

You should go to the BM website here and check it all out. You can get a newsletter, join the online BM community, look at pics from past years...it's amazing. I have trouble shutting up about it!

Sorry to hear your NYE wasn't fun. Hope today was better! smile
