Today I was in need of some peace and quiet so I dug out my lonely planet guide to London and went here:
Buddhapadipa temple.
The temple was small, but lovely inside, and had the most amazing painted murals inside that you could look at for hours. My friend and I also wandered around the gardens for awhile, and saw a fox, squirrels, and some lovely different types of birds. Although we were still in the city, it felt like we could've been in a different country altogether. So after making an offering to Buddha, we lleft and I felt more calm and relaxed than I have for a long time.
I have also been in a serious baking mood this weekend-the highlight of this being my chocolate and zuccihini cake I made last night-and is quickly being demolished by my flatmates as I speak. But I'd rather them fill up on food that was homemade rather than packaged, store-bought, preservative-laden crap! Tonight it's going to be roasted potato, parsnip, sweet potato, butternut squash and other vege delights I haven't decided on yet.
So although the weather is grey, dark and icy-cold at the moment, it's been such a nice weekend, hanging out, watching DVDs, laughing at old jokes with friends and warming myself with wine, I feel sad about leaving it behind for another gruelling week at work .
If you could do one thing in the world right now, what would it be?
Just curious

As for my sleeve, I haven't got a specific theme really, I know the kind of things I want on it but am not sure how the different elements will come together yet, more research to do !
