So O and I are officially split now. Basically, it comes down to the fact that I am in all likelihood (assuming I get a job offer) leaving in less than six months, and O is not going to follow me wherever I go. And in all honesty, I wouldn't want to be with someone willing to drop everything to follow me -- that's the paradox of my love life right now. It was a downright friendly break-up, though.

Of course, now I'm lacking a date for Cirque du Soleil in May -- E and C gave me a pair of tickets over Christmas, as a thank-you for helping with their wedding in September. At least I have plenty of time to find someone to go with me.

Ah well, back to focusing on my work.
