I'm now up to about 30 applications submitted. It's getting smoother now, partly because the remaining ones don't come due until January. Let's hope I get a job offer, otherwise I'll be staying in Seattle another year.
So I was in Salt Lake City this past weekend, and a funny thing happened Friday night. The four of us who came down from Seattle were walking through the city to get some beers when a car drove by, and someone shouted out the window "freaks!" Mind you, Z and I were probably the only remotely weird-looking ones of the bunch (and Z only because he was wearing a long naval coat, and me only because I have long hair). It was a total flashback to high school, when I was living near white-bread suburbia hell. I had a good laugh about it. And I suppose it says something about SLC.

That is a flashback to high school, but then again, I've always thought my workplace is a lot like highschool.
Goodluck with the job hunting!
