I'm starting to bump up against seasonal depression. It hits me every winter here; then the good weather comes, I start feeling good again, and I forget how much the last winter sucked until the next one comes. This year I'm going to try to find some kind of solution, as I really don't want to feel shitty for the next three months.
It looks like I'm staying in Seattle for Christmas this year. Flights back east have gotten far too expensive and my brother and sis-in-law (and nephew) won't be paying a visit east, so I'd just as soon take a trip when the flights are cheaper. This will be my first year as a Seattle Christmas orphan (though I'm plenty used to being a Thanksgiving orphan).
