I went on a fabulous road trip.
I went to Shambhala, where I was naked for three days. One can only tolerate hippie banter for so long, but it was fun, and forty five degrees the whole time.
Then I went to a cabin on a glacier-fed lake in the East Kootenays. At this place we can still drink straight out of the stream, and see the bottom of the lake from the deck. My first day there, I was greeted by an enormous toad. He was so neat.
I went to a farming ghost town, and played with the baby Clydesdales all morning. Everyone lost me for a while and found me with the pigs. You can take a girl out of the city, but then you cannot get her out of the pigpen. I should have never grown up in a city.
Then I went to Banff and laughed at tourists, climbed in the Rockes, and came to the conclusion that I shall be a cowgirl next summer. I shall take rides into the alpine, and chase cattle. I have a job offer already. I got to hang out with bighorn sheep, and even a lady moose.
THIS is how I recharge.
Now I'm home with absolutely no money and no job. I'm praying for my loan to come, and waiting for school to start. Anyone else going to Bumbershoot in Seattle? I never miss it.
I think I'm leaving this site. Not for any good reason, only that I have a short attention span. If anyone would like my email, do ask.
Wishing everyone a beautiful harvest.
