I made these for my bff's daughters birthday party. The heart shaped cherry pies are 100% vegan.
I used whole wheat flour, earth balance and a little bit of soy milk for the crust. I rubbed the tops with coconut oil and sprinkled with white sugar.The inside is made with fresh cherries, agave nectar, rum flavoring. I baked for about 20 minutes on 350. The heart shaped mold came from Williams-Sonoma. Good thing I made this. They were a hit!
Rufus is here to cute up my journal entry. I adopted him about 6 months ago. His original daddy was a family member that was killed in a skydiving accident. Rufus was loved so much, I couldn't let him go to a stranger or the pound.

Those cherry pies look so good! I made a great swedish chocolate cake the other day but it wasn't vegan, still delicious though.
