The weather was horrible yesterday. It was the heaviest storm that I had ever seen. Most of the island was flooded and concrete/brick walls crumbled. I watched mudslides and flooding from my window. I am happy to be on the top floor. The bottom floor of this house flooded pretty bad and was affected by the mudslides.
A baby bay flew into my bedroom at around 4:00 AM this morning. I still have no idea where it came from. Even though getting the bat out of the bedroom was simple. Sadly the bat did not make it out of the apartment alive. While leaving the doors open and trying to coax the bat outside. A cat came in grabbed the bat and killed it. Boo Hoo. It's the saddest thing ever. Rest In Peace little baby bat.
