by slowing down and taking my time! and I inject brief breaks of things I enjoy to give me something to work towards, like gaming for a little bit or finishing a chapter of my book. of course it depends on how quickly something needs done, and of course I have the capacity to drop everything and just DO something until it's finished - but if that's not necessary then I take my time and make sure it gets done, and done well. panicking won't do me any favors, and neither will rushing, but definitely neither will just ignoring the thing, and so - slow and steady deliberate actions makes the stress go away. 💕💕
and if I'm stressed over something I have no control over at all... that's when slow, deliberate, patient and understanding self-care days come in, to help keep me calm until the stress passes. 💜
