While I was nervous/excited to finally shoot a set for SG I had no idea of how to get started, I always thought that if I did something for SG itād have to be at least a set with perfectly classy and beautiful pictures of not something very artistic and extraordinary.
I found a blog with a file that had trusted SG photographers and saw @gitanna while I was hesitant to shoot with a girl (self confidence issues) I was very excited for what a difference of an experience itād be for me and the opportunity of working with a woman giving it a more feminine touch.
She was soooooo good at guiding me from the get go, telling me more of what she knew about SG, answering so many questions she didnāt have to, calming my nerves down, I truly felt as she was with me in this, making it such a beautiful experience.
We met and shot briefly, I was astounded with how fast it was to shoot the whole set, immediately she closed the camera and said with a smile -āI think weāre doneā and in my head I was positive we couldnāt have gotten enough SG worthy shots , but then she showed me the pictures, we were done.
Of course weāve kept in touch and shot one other time, sheās been my guide through the whole process and a friend, Iām very grateful for her.
I canāt wait to see her as an official photographer and a SG herself.
I see how hard she works and how much she cares about all of the girls in the community, the quality of her work.
