What are your favorite countries’ traditions and why?
I’ll start

Contrary to the popular belief Mexican Independence Day is celebrated on Sept 16,

I love the folklore and food (which is mainly a mixture of Spanish and Mexican indigenous culture and flavors)

Being (living) away from my country was really hard, this is the beginning of the most important holidays through the end of the year… nobody parties like us, family gatherings are bomb.

Walking around Coyoacan’s downtown recently I realized how full of life the city is… how despite being through so much we still have so much to celebrate.
