Well, Adam signed the lease yesterday. That means we have our own place! We call it our "love nest", because we will be living in sin there and probably doing many bad baaad things. I can't wait! We're both talking about it constantly now, and we're already diving up the budget and what-not. Lucky for us, he's got a butt-load of student loans, financial aid and scholarships to help supplement things. (and yes, I know we'll have to pay it back eventually!) 
I got a letter yesterday from Phi Beta Kappa ("the oldest and most prestigious liberal arts honor society in the United States"), and they want me to apply.
The criteria are pretty straight forward, except that they want you to have taken some high level math, which I haven't because I'm horrible at the subject. So, maybe I can convince them that taking Microeconomic Analysis and Statistics for Psychology was much more beneficial than Calculus....I'm sure that if I explain it eloquently enough they'll have to agree!
I'm patiently waiting for spring to come...so where the fuck is it???

The only society I'm a part of is the NCN, or National Caricaturists Netwrk, which consists of about 500 or so of us caricature artist(or former in my case), world wide. We have a convention every year-this year, it fell on the same week as inventory at work-so i was unable to go. This was the rough week I was referring to in my journal. But that shit is done finally.
