well...happiness is fleeting, kids.

I just dropped Adam off at the airport. That was the quickest and happiest 2 weeks in recent memory. Being with him just served to exaggerate how miserable I am when I'm alone. But luckily tomorrow I, too, will go to the airport. I'm going to visit my family in Alaska for a month. I think it'll help me to be around people for a change. Sure, I'll be bored off my ass since all my friends from high school have moved away....but I can just use the time to read the pile of books that have been waiting for me.

Unfortunately, I found out that NW Airlines doesn't allow hedgehogs on their planes for some unknown reason. That means that I have to leave Biscuit here with Annette. This makes me very nervous, and if he should die in my absence I will never forgive myself. I love that little guy! I don't want to leave him

Damn I'm sad. This really sucks. I guess the only good news is that Adam let is slip that he's going to propose sometime during my spring break visit. He even took me to a jewelry store to pick out the kind of ring I want. Nothing like a little anticipation to make time go in slow motion!!
