It was a really good gig, despite the looseness of my playing after a month of almost no methodical practice, just performance-focused practice and rehearsals. The fingers weren't as tight as I'm used to them being, but the ideas were huge and flowing!
The band that played after us had a guy singing, a guy playing guitar, a chick playing bass and a drummer chick. I was trying to put my finger on what was funny about the band and then it hit me: it's a band that can't decide if it's a boy or a girl.
The band's only been together for 4 years. I guess it may be a little bit too early to start imposing roles on it.
