i love riding my mt. bike! we have a really great park close by, the trails are all single track and go from mild to wild. its a great workout. i may just drop some weight if i keep it up. ive only been riding about 2 months and its made me realize how out of shape i am. Ive never had good lung capacity, but since i never participated in team sports during my highschool years, ive never developed the lungs to go the distance breathing hard. it sucks.
on another note i was watching scarred last nite and it really set in that i NEED to get a helmet. we do stupid crazy downhill trails. i mean wreck and you die trails. so yea, i best get one before i fuck up. hell today i poked my eye out on a stray limb from a tree. damn it hurt, still hurts. im asking for trouble riding this bike, but trouble makes me feel good.
