Nothing like feeling too old. I'm only 24, and yet today I was once again reminded that - in comparison to an 18 year old - I am indeed an old man. Standing in line for food at school today (perhaps it is the fact that I'm still in school...) I stumbled into a conversation with a young lady standing behind me. At some point, and for only God knows what reason, I divulged my age to her. She's only 18 and for the next 5 minutes proceeds to tell every possible joke about being old that she can recall. Afterwards I smiled and told her it was nice meeting her. I think she wants to sleep with me.
While I'm writing this in our student center there is a poetry reading going on behind me. I'm all for poetry, and some of these readings are really good/entertaining. But this one douche bag (and I call him a douche with the utmost respect since he INDEED did get up on stage whereas I'm sitting here looking at beautiful women) read a poem making fun of commuters here at school. I myself being a commuter have decided to run him over if I ever see him crossing the street. I'm only joking. I'm sure he's a great guy.

And I'm pretty sure I'm not just "too old."
