Tomorrow is Friday - thank the gods and goddesses! It has been a long week. Hard work and little play.
My little boy is in hospital. On Tuesday night I realised something is wrong - he just wasn't himself. Lying around not looking up, but still wagging his tail. Yesterday morning his condition did not improve and I took him to the vet. Symptoms - stiff neck. Possible diagnosis (a) Slipped Disk (b) Meningitis. After tests yesterday and today the vet confirmed that he has slight problems in his vertabrae - but not to the extend that he needs surgery. He will come home tomorrow morning with a course of cortisone that should fix the problem. If it reoccurs soon he will have to go for the operation. The house is so quiet without him
I am shit scared of having my tongue pierced. I had my nipples pierced about three years ago and almost fainted from the shock. What the fuck will I do with my tongue?!
I am more scared of the actual piercing than the complicated healing process.
Off to bed I go ... sleep tight bunnies!

Tongue isnt so bad, you can't feel the actual piercing, I think the healing is the worse bit, it only means you'll have to stick to liquids for a couple of days. You'll be absolutly fine, but good luck and hope it all runs smoothly

I had one of my nipples pierced last August, and about a month ago, I pierced my tongue. My nipple piercing didn't really hurt much at all (the worst thing was those 30 seconds with nausea when I got the needle through), and the tongue didn't hurt at all. I couldn't speak normally or eat much at all for about a half week because of the swelling. But the healing process haven't been painful at all (at least so far :p), and I didn't even have the need to suck on ice-cubes. Sure, it's different for everybody, but they say that the tongue-piercing is one of the least painful ones to get. You'll be fine.
