These interviews are fascinating, and I suggest you give them a listen. Dawkins' interview is Part I. He wrote a well-received book called The God Delusion, and Terry Gross of NPR's Fresh Air does her usual terrific job of conducting a conversation w/Dr. Dawkins on passionate aetheism. Included are some quotes by Einstein (a Classical Pantheist {aka: aetheist}) and an understanding of what Einstein referred to when he said, "God". Also, Dawkins talks about being good - and is it religious faith that motivates goodness or violence in us, or is it simply us?
Part II is w/Dr. Francis Collins, a former aetheist, who headed up the Human Genome Project for President Clinton. Collins is, of all things, an Evangelical Christian, which, if you pay attention to the side show we call The Media, you know that Evangelical zealots believe The Bible is history and that the world is 6,000 years old, and that humans wandered the earth w/dinosaurs. Collins, as a scientist, of course, deals w/that and discusses why he's a believer.
