The underground always has that cold feeling, along with the mixing smells of cologne, after shave, perfume, and poverty. My eyes shift and search every face around me but all I get in return is eyes that face the floor. I got on the train and made my way. The metal glanged and every turn is felt as I leaned up against the wall. You don't know how lonely you are in the world till you find yourself in a room full of people. Still there always is that rare chance that you meet someone that clicks.
She shifted her weight while she stayed on the wall opposite of me. Our eyes met on and off, then we would exchange smiles to only return back to our shoes. We followed the floor back up to see and then I quickly just turned and looked around the train. The whole conversation was a silent movie. Few stops past in we wondered who would say or get off first. I tried to stop looking so I wouldn't scare her but her eyes were felt on me.
Her stop came and everything slowed and as she left everyone disappeared. She looked at me and said have a nice day. I just whispered bye then there was a pause between us and she was gone. Back into the tunnels and back to the silence.
My music kicks on in my head phones and the passing lights on the window, the blured scenery all became my music video. heh...connections..sometimes all it takes is to pick up the phone but sometimes you to far away to even here the ring.

Don't you love the necklace?! My aunt gave it to me! I was so stoked. I also made the fishnets...sort of, I cut them to make them look fun
I miss the underground. I don't get any of that here...just the horrid bus, and trust me, there is nothing magical about the bus...but I do remember the trains...
