CATEGORY: being a fucking superstar.
the movie was really good, and funny too, which was unexpected
someday, it will hopefully be available to watch on: www.48.tv
we got a few laughs and a positive reaction from the crowd, some of whom found me outside to say what a nice job we did. even though i didn't do a whole lot, in terms of getting the movie made, i played the pivotal role of "the princess" and none of them had to dress in drag to do it. we then went out with some of the crew and drank in celebration. my newest crush then drove me back to my car, but we fit in some heavy making out while stuck (for like 10 minutes) at a train crossing in downtown Plymouth. he drives a 1964 Thunderbird, which, on it's own, is enough to get my panties wet. i am just about dying to shoot a set with this car, it is so gorgeous! black, beautiful interior and it's all original. i love that car! the fella that owns it isn't bad either [/understatement].
in other news, i am now a part of the Tickled Fancy Burlesque troupe. i will put in some time as the merch girl at their next show and after that i can develop an act and hopefully perform it with them onstage!
i don't exactly feel like i fit in quite yet, but the girls are very sweet and helpful, i just need to lose my self doubt and dive into the experience. i am also on a hard-core diet/exercise routine. 100 situps a day (at least) and 45 minutes of powerwalking with small wrist weights.
still nothing on the job front...i am applying at u-m in ann arbor now. i neeeed to find a job, then my life will be well on the way to awesome. don't get me wrong, things are fabulous without the job, but there's a worry-feeling in the pit of my stomach. i hope something comes along soon!
well, i hope you have a great weekend! i know i will!

Sounds awesome! Did you ever see Jhay's 77 T-bird? It was pretty great.
