So I had a sad little reunion / good bye party last night. The few friends that I do have in Arizona are all leaving because their visa's are expiring. So we had a "reunion of the commonwealth" party. There were the South Africans, Canadians, English and Australians. We reminisced about long plane flights and REAL cadbury chocolates. The only other Aussie there even started get a wee bit teary when we started on about Christmas in the Summer (as is the norm in the southern hemisphere).
It is very refreshing to hear other accents, but also a little sad when you realise that you are very far from "home". So as the lone member of the Commonealth left here (well that I know of, I have heard rumours of a New Zealand piercer somewhere in Tempe) I will have to represent the mother country alone .
See, South Africa and Australia do get along. Thobecka making me look like Casper.
England and Canada pretending they aren't sitting near each other (typical)
The Aussies showing some teeth, the lad behind us said that taking a good picture is "all in the teeth"

No sense in burying them. Buzzards have to eat, just the same as worms
