Oh, I have just spent a large chunk of an hour not being scared by "Scariest Places on Earth". I love nothing more than having the wits scared out of me, but this didn't do it for me. Perhaps I have become desensitized or perhaps the show is just lame.
The scariest places I have had the fortune visiting are, in no particular order;
The Inner Ward of London Towers - I had to do an analysis of the stones in the the wall of the Inner Ward and of course this couldn't go on in day light in front of tourists.
Glamis Castle Scotland - It looks like something from a comic book. It is not a pleasant place at all....I loved it.
St Helenas Island Australia - Well, it would have to have something, it is one of the oldest places in Australia and built purely by convict labour. The only thing worse than being sent to jail is being made to build the jail first.
Melbourne Jail Australia - Awesome, if anyone ever gets the chance to go to Australia they must visit the Melbourne jail. Australia's most famous historical people have been executed in that jail and after they were killed death masks were made and you can see them. Very interesting.
NOTE - just for clarification, for some reason Australia's most famous people were all criminals.
I love a good ghost story.
