"rappers are in danger!"
closer and closer to getting something going with my little bedroom studio. i've been wanting to get some music made for probably five or six years now but life has a way of giving you some distractions but i guess the plus side to that is it just adds to the sound later on.
only trouble about all of this is like with most things i'm usually on my own when it comes to figuring out wrongs, rights, needs, etc. lot of trial and error but thats something i sort of enjoy.
i've been asked what kind of sound i'm going for, hard to say really but for now i guess experimental is the best way to describe it. for years i've been a hip hop head but if you were to hang around me now you'd think i was just into metal sporting a slayer t-shirt and in all black.. i still love hip hop even though theres been a lot of change both good and bad. i'll always be a hip hop head at heart and i still rock breaks and beats when i'm in the mood.
it's been a few years since i've written any lyrics and i know my style has changed quite a bit since so it'll be interesting to see what i have in me next time.
for now it's time for learning and exploring.
i'll concentrate on writing later once i'm comfortable with beat making.
need more vinyl.
can one ever have enough?
i think not.
