Such a tease of a vacation day yesterday. I dropped laceyglove and my little butter off at our vacation place, laid out, sat in the hot tub, drank lots of new castle cracked crabs, shelled shrimp and played a quick game of pool. Now it's back to work for 3 days before I can have vacation for real. My mom got up early with me to make my breakfast and I was able to watch the sunrise as I drove back to Norfolk this morning.

Listened to Dinosaur on the way to OBX yesterday. It made me think about the music I listened to during my first self discovery phase at the ripe old age of 19. Yeah, that was a good year, the whole nudist thing started then as well as hanging in Georgetown with the homeless. So, Dinosaur, a big helping of Descendents, mother fuckin' BAD BRAINS, a pinch of Shudder to Think, a sprinkle of Echo and the Bunnymen, Skinny Puppy and The Clash a dollop of Jawbreaker and GBH. That is the gumbo that makes up my soundtrack for 19. Now I'm working on my 2nd self discovery and compiling the new soundtrack.
