Hey there cool thing, come sit beside me I have something to tell you.
Sucky start to yesterday, cramps from hell, late for work, scraped the side of my car in the parking garage (do not wave at people while driving into the garage), boss is doing the nazi act to impress the new hire, finding out I stressed a resident out so bad she had a herpes outbreak... and then I had the pleasure of drinking some beers, listening to him talking for hours (I like to watch people talk) and getting in as much groping as is acceptable in public.
Spent an interesting evening in So. MD last weekend. A group of women my ageish but looking older, drunk, dancing together, trying to have a fun night before going home to misery...It made me have a flashback to me about 3-5 yrs. ago. Unhappily married, drunk, dancing and hoping to escape, escape, escape. It made me sad. So what did I do? Dragged the dood to the dancefloor, smiled and danced my ass off and was happy to be free! I have to say it is great to outdance the rest of the whitefolk and it's even better to be able to dance with someone even when there is no music just because of the way your bodies feel moving together. It's good to be me.
I leave you with this song which has been in my head:
Fell into A sea of grass And disappeared among
The shady blades...
Children all Ran over me Screaming tag! You are the one!
He trips her as Her sandals fail She says stop! I'm a girl... Whose fingernails are made Of mother's pearl...
Yellow buttercup Helicopters Orange buttercat Chasing after The crazy bee Mad about somebody...
Me and my girlfriend Don't wear no shoes Her nose is painted pepper Sunlight... She loves me I mean it's serious As serious can be...
She sings a song and I listen to what it says:
If you want a friend Feed any animal...
There was so much space I cut me a piece
With some fine wine It brought peace to my mind
In the summertime...
And it rolled
Summer.... oh... Oh.... the summertime rolls
Oh sidenote: Go see the guys band next Friday @ Sidebar in Baltimore. Cause he rawks the bass as good as he slaps my ass.
