SG land, hello hope your lives are bright and sunny these days. I'm @Godiva, after the gentle woman whom rode her horse naked through town to get her husband to reduce the citizens taxes. Or so the story goes. Not the chocolate... I have been Godiva Suicide for 15 years, in that time I have been active and inactive, but I always come back. Life happens, the improving of oneself, death, relationships, birth, rebirth... life is fleeting and 15 years has gone by too fast. Yet my first set in 2008 seems like a whole other lifetime ago. So here is my questionnaire as an OG SG, vintage edition. Here we go lovers...
1. Playlists or podcasts?
Playlist. I have so many, for running, walking, weight lifting, and for dance parties with my son. My favorite has all my old Ska and punk songs which I bust out when I'm feeling nostalgic but the one I listen to the most is called Run your ass off, and has a lot of pop songs for a high heart rate. I like Miley for that. New husky voice miley. As for podcasts I listened to the one about the tyelonol murders and now get scared everytime I pop a pill so no more murder podcasts lol
2. Sandals or slippers?
Neither. Socks. I have a extensive collection of socks. Faire isle being my favorite. It gets cold here and warm feet in pretty socks make me feel cozy in the winter time. I also have a pair that makes it look like a crocodile are eating my feet!
3. Fruits or vegetables?
Vegetables. I have a beautiful veggie garden and I love cooking with vegetables. Gardening is a favorite pastime. Also my kid eats all the fruit. But I do make a good pear and dragonflies smoothie.
4. Cats or dogs?
Definitely a dog person because I like being fussed over when I get home and I like having a good walking partner. But I used to have a siamese and it was alot like having a dog. My 2 dogs are seniors, their names are hamlet and scout.
5. Summer or winter?
Summer. I hate winter, even though I do like socks. It's wisconsin and it's cold and their is snow and I wish I lived somewhere warm to be honest.
6. Salt or pepper?
Salt. I was french trained in cooking and salt and butter are staples to great flavored dishes. And salt goes better with tequila.
7. Cookies or chips?
Cookies, for christmas time and tortilla chips for summer to go with fresh garden salsa. I do love baking though.
8. Country or city?
That's hard because I grew up on a little farm and it was amazing but there are so many benefits to being in the city now. Everything is close and there is the lake and good restaurants and bars.
9. Text or call?
Depends. If I have a lot to say I'd prefer to talk on the phone. But alot of people hate that now I guess. I grew up when call waiting was a new thing so as a teen I'd talk to my friends on the phone for hours. I kinda miss that.
10. Blue or pink?
Blue, so calming and whenever I think of the two I think of when I found out I was having a son and remember those blue balloons. Also it goes with my eyes.
11. Driver or passenger?
Passenger for sure, I get anxious driving. I get used to my usual routes and when I drive somewhere unexpected or unknown it makes me jumpy.
12. Laptop or tablet?
Neither. I use my phone for everything now. Or my nintendo switch. Back in the day when I was a graphic designer I had a MacBook which I loved, it was the same one I had when I did my SG shoots and I still have it under my bed now. Just doesn't work very good lol.
13. Comedy or Horror?
If I watch horror and it's actually scary I won't sleep for a week, and I have a tendency to be a little superstitious. That being said I was a total need for Supernatural until I could no longer follow the angel bullshit going on. So I guess you could say both because my favorite movie of all time was Beetlejuice.
14. Beer or wine?
Well it used to be wine, I love red, and sparkling wine, but honestly I'm a tequila girl now. I recently got some salt shot glasses it is a total game changer.
15. Concert or theater production?
I'd rather goto a concert, but honestly I don't love crowds so I have to say neither. I'd rather stay in. Introvert all the way, but I wouldn't turn down a good opportunity and smaller venues with indie music and wine or the house of blues is always a nice experience. Also street musicians always make me feel good inside because I get the experience of beautiful scenery as well.
