Whoa! Talk about being part of history - This OGSG that is model number 204 I think! Wrap your head around that! And now there are thousands! I’m not only vintage, I’m practically antique. Still cute though 😋 Most folks can only dream of the impact they make on the world, but Suicide Girls have made it happen with their embrace of self-expression and uniquely beautiful differences from both models and fans alike all in one safe space. For two decades now, SG has been providing incredible opportunities for adventure that will stand as legacies worth remembering long into future generations!
These days you can find me on Instagram at Blackrock_Blyss and surprisingly, I’m still shooting! I suppose I’ll never stop.
Love you guys and thank you for being so cool!
And to Missy and all the OGSG staff and models, ITS BEEN 20 YEARS!!! We are all absolute legends!!
I would just like to say thank you, I am so stoked and sincerely honored to have been a part of the trail that this site has blazed.
P.S. let’s have a reunion!

How did you discover SuicideGirls? What inspired you to apply?
When I stumbled across SuicideGirls, it felt like fate! I was working as a registered nurse at Pike Market Clinic in Seattle, and a coworker of mine was absolutely obsessed with Mary. At his suggestion, I pulled up the website to check her out, a moment, which was similar to Alice, falling down the rabbit hole, and into a whole New World. I was Immediately drawn to the unique vibe of SG and I loved so much how it celebrated unconventional beauty! I knew that joining was my destiny. Taking a chance by applying on impulse paid off... big time. Soon enough they flew me out for an amazing adventure in L.A., shooting a couple sets with Missy and meeting some incredible girls who had opted to be part of SG too - truly one of the best experiences ever kicking-off a totally different path packed full exciting opportunities that still continue to this day.
What is the significance of your SG name?
My SG name is my Burning Man handle, Blyss, and has a legendary past. When I first chose it back in the early 2000's - way before it became mainstream - virtually nobody knew of its existence and attendance numbers were more on par with backyard BBQs than crazy neon-lit parties. But how times have changed! Nowadays you can't swing a fire poi without hearing stories, podcasts & movies raving about that wild Nevada desert playground we call home (at least once a year).
Which of your sets is your favorite and why?
When it comes to favorite sets, I'm drawn back in time to September 7, 2006. While wandering through the gorgeous historical Pioneer Square in Seattle with my photographer boyfriend after a fashion show we'd just been apart of- rain had made an appearance making it even more romantic and beautiful! I was already dressed up for the night in makeup and hair so why not shoot? The streets sparkled like diamonds, the leaves embracing all their sunset hues under the original streetlights - I was already wearing the fur jacket and carrying the vintage suitcase, like it was written in the stars to capture that moment in time. And so we did :-)
If you could shoot a set in any theme with no budget, what kind of set would it be?
I’m a huge fan of abandoned places which can be a fantastic option for shooting without a budget. My dream set would be an incredible exploration of the forgotten and mysterious. Lost in time with its own stories to tell - I'd love nothing more than roving through a remote abandoned place while creating starkly sexy, unexpected juxtaposed imagery.
Share a fun or silly SG, memory that you have:
Who would have thought I'd one day find myself in the middle of a rock and roll whirlwind? But there I was, nearly naked, pantyhose stockings pulled over my head like a bank robber, beating up Blag Dahlia! It all happened when myself and a few other Suicide Girls were invited to join The Dwarves for their FEFU music video in Hollywood - what a wild ride!

What is your favorite food?
My top picks are mangoes and sticky rice - the sweet yet savory pairing is divine! For something out of the ordinary try my favorite combination: toast with butter and hot sauce - yes you read that right; trust me its AMAZING. And finally for comfort food, nothing beats a bowl of warm pho on a chilly day!
What's your favorite color?
My favorite color? Oh, it's gotta be white! Just like snowflakes and summer clouds--it’s clean, strong and beautiful.
What's your dream vacation?
My dream vacation is a gypsy quest journey spanning the globe and entire my lifetime, the vacation that never ends!
