Hah.
Met my former and future housemate, the Rawsmeister today and we seen the coolest little flat. When I say little, I mean it in an endearing form rather than because it is actually small. Two double bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Big lounge. Very large airy kitchen/diner. Nice curtains.
Head back to the Country Girl where Raws lights up a few fags and says, 'the question is whether we can be arsed to look at any more places.' This is the first place she's looked at. I, on the other hand, have been tramping round the place for a couple of weeks and my feet are pretty sore. So we kind of agree we'll probably sign the lease on Monday.
First two houseparties are scheduled for the last weekend in October (when Raws lifts her self-enforced drinking ban), and the middle of November (when Harry Potter comes out.)
The only problem is it's practically across the road from where I live presently, squashed between a grocery store and a car salesroom. The last part isn't really a problem. It means loud parties at night and no neighbours to knock on the walls with brooms. But I had hoped to move a little further out of the area I been living more or less the last five years. Time for some progression!
