Get this. I can train to be a hypnotherapist at a place just down the road from me. I go to 10 x weekend-long courses spaced out over a year, put together a wee portfolio of reflections on what I've learnt, practise hypnotising people (and you know, I've already started doing THAT....) and at the end of the year I have a diploma and the option of joining all sorts of professional bodies.
Problem is? You have to be over 25 to apply.
