So, a month's worth of update to come. But for now, a cocktail I had somewhere in Shoreditch:

Take one mean-ass espresso and make it cold.
Make a martini glass cold and add the cold coffee to the cold glass.
Slosh in a wee shot of frangelica, so they say, but I fancy my chances with amaretto.
Gently stir in a little toke of kalhua.
Is it cold?
Then fill the bitch up with Makers Mark!

...bonus points if you make a straw stick to the side of the glass.
