NEWSFLASH! I have released the first chapter for review.
I'm so close to the halfway point. I just need another 2000 words before tomorrow night, in order to qualify for a bottle of Cava.
I was hoping to have maybe three chapters ready before anyone started reading it, but that seems like a distant dream still, and I couldn't wait. I don't want to post too much of a synopsis, because I'd rather get some people to read it and have them tell me what it's about. The highly stimulating working title is Alex: A Love Story, and it is a neurotic tale of desire and shame. Alex, when the story begins, is an 11 year old boy who is being primed as a child actor. It was originally going to be a short story, and some of you will recognise the external stimulus that provided the original inspiration for that story.

But I don't want to post 3,300 words in a spoiler, so I will be distributing emails to anyone who'd like to read the chapter. I've already begun sending to folk who've expressed interest so far, so if you think I've missed you out, let me know. Today, two people read the chapter in full. Do you want to be one of the next?

Umm my Nil By Mouth starred Ray Winstone
Yeah Goodbye Lenin was quite eye opening, it's quite bizarre how different East and West Germany were
